What is Operation Cookies? Operation Cookies is a veteran-owned, family-run bakery based out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania that sells their cookies online. We give monthly monetary donations to organizations that enhance the lives of veterans in need.

Where do you ship to? We ship to all 50 states as well as APO/FPO addresses.  We don't ship to Canada.

Do you offer free shipping?  Yes - for orders going to a single address over $50

Can I have cookies delivered to an active service member? Yes. You can have cookies delivered to APO & FPO addresses. If you need any help entering the address on the checkout page, just email inquiries@operationcookies.com

How long does it take to get my order? Normally, it takes about 1-2 days to prepare your order. We're a small operation and everything is homemade by single batch so we need a bit of time to prepare and bake. 

What Shipping Service should you use? If shipping to the East Coast and midwest states, please select UPS.  Select Fedex if shipping the western states.  USPS may be selected but please note that USPS has been experiencing shipping delays which are outside of our control. We strongly encourage the use of UPS or FedEx. (We use USPS to ship to PO Boxes and APO/FPO addresses). Please note that often, we will use a different shipping carrier of equal or better service. For example, If UPS Ground is selected is selected for a west coast shipment which takes 4-5 days, we may use FedEx 2-Day service at no additional charge to the customer.  Often, we will use UPS Ground even though USPS Priority Mail is selected. This ensures a better shipping experience for the customer and less time on us looking for delayed packages (this is based on our experiences with UPS vs. USPS).

Can cookies be frozen to extend shelf life? Yes, cookies may be placed in the freezer for up to 6 weeks.  Pull them out, let them thaw and they'll be as fresh as when you put them in there.

How are orders going to multiple addresses handled? For orders of any size going to multiple addresses, send us an email with the qty and flavor of cookies and the addresses on an Excel sheet and we'll provide you with one quote that covers the cookies and shipping.  If you want to proceed with an order, we'll send you an invoice that can be paid directly on our site. 

Is there a freshness guarantee? Absolutely!  If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply let us know and we'll provide a full refund.

Is there a Rewards program? Yes, sign up by clicking on the "Rewards" button that appears at the bottom right corner when accessing our homepage.

If this is a gift, can I enter a note to go with the cookies? Yes. At the first page of the cart checkout process, there is a block where you can enter the gift note along with any other shipping instructions.  The block looks like this:

               

    What if I need my cookies delivered on a specific date? Use the same block on the first page of the cart checkout process to enter the specific date along with any other message/note you'd like to convey to the recipient.

    Do you offer gift wrap service? Yes. For a flat fee of $5.99, up to 5 cookie boxes can be wrapped.

    Do you individually wrap each cookie - Yes, since day #1 of our business.

    Do you provide any literature/information about your business with each shipment?  Yes, we include a copy of "Our Story" with each shipment (except orders that have a sympathy note for the loss of a loved one).

    Do you participate in fundraisers?  Yes, on a limited basis.  Contact us with your fundraiser and we'll see what we can do.
